Merrick is hiring a Facilities Management Assistant to join our Greenwood Village office. The Facilities Management Assistant will maintain and oversee the routine activities related to the organization’s facilities.Â

The salary range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00 per hour, in-office Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Receives and sorts mail according to destination and type such as returned letters, adjustments, bills, orders, and payments.
- Add funds to postage meter, perform user maintenance, and place service calls as needed.
- Oversee the distribution and collection of mail.
- Accepts incoming deliveries from FedEx, UPS, and other miscellaneous deliveries and logs the same.
- Maintains the address books in the FedEx and UPS systems.
- Tracks FedEx and UPS shipments and researches past tracking numbers when requested.
- Orders office supplies for all Merrick offices.
- Maintain GWV supply room stocked and organized with office supplies.
- Oversee Merrick copiers and plotters for all Merrick offices, including the replacement and relocation of units
- Monitor lease end dates and details for all copiers/plotters. Organize Copier/Plotter files on M drive. Make sure all are updated, signed and saved. Move old equipment contracts/file to “No longer in use” file. Troubleshoots copier and plotter issues, performs copier and plotter user maintenance as needed and places service calls when required.
- Assists and facilitates other assigned duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- 3-5 Years of experience in a similar setting preferred.
- Basic computer skills and how a mail room operates.
- An understanding of professional responsibilities of working in an office.
- Possesses basic oral and written communication skills.
- Respectfully and productively interacts with other staff.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
