Plasman is currently seeking a new member to join our MAINTENANCE team as a:

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

In this role, you will lead and manage a team dedicated to maintaining the optimal functionality of all equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead daily maintenance operations to ensure all equipment and facilities are functioning optimally.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and prolong equipment life.

  • Coordinate and oversee the repair of equipment in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.

  • Optimize maintenance processes and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency.

  • Work collaboratively with other departments to support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure a personal and associate awareness of all quality and business-related operating systems (ISO/IATF).

Qualifications, Skills and Experience We're Looking For
  • Post secondary degree or diploma in a technical or engineering related field is preferred; a combination of education, training and years working experience will be considered. 

  • Skilled trade certification is required - a recognized provincial, state or federal license required.  

  • At least 5 years of experience in a maintenance role, with 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

  • Proven knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance and repair processes.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
