Ensemble assistants primarily help with setup and strike for Music Department rehearsals and concerts. This includes setting up chairs and music stands, copying music, and more. 

 

The Choir Manager assists the director in organizing logistical matters related to the choir. The manager helps to plan the choir's annual tour, and arranges various logistical aspects of the tour in coordination with the director and the technical associate for the music department. Since the choir manager helps with the tour while the tour is underway, the choir manager needs to be a member of the choir.

 

All applicants must be participating members of the relevant ensemble. 

Qualifications

With direction, student organizes, coordinates and/or performs work in administration of departmental operations or activities. Requires excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills and able to direct the work of others. Must be detail oriented, possess strong oral and written communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office and/or other relevant technologies.
