Position Summary:
Selected students will be working as part of a team of student business analysts at the Iowa State University CyBIZ Lab on a project to conduct an analysis of the current state of business in Poweshiek County and develop recommendations related to future economic opportunities and attracting new industries to the area. The role of the Grinnell student research assistants will focus on collecting data from community stakeholders via surveys and interviews. Students will be involved in survey development, distribution, and data collection, carrying out post-survey interviews and analysis of these data, assisting in preparation of final reports, and participating in presentation of recommendations to partners and community stakeholders. Grinnell students will have an on-campus supervisor for guidance, but you will be expected to work independently and in close collaboration with the ISU CyBIZ Lab team.
Key Responsibilities:
路 Project Support: Assist in the development and implementation of surveys and interviews, contribute to analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, assist with preparation of final reports and presentations.
路 Effective Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with team members at Grinnell and the CyBiz Lab and with external partners to ensure alignment and project success.
路 Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions with clients, team members, and stakeholders, upholding the institution鈥檚 standards and reputation.
路 Attend project meetings: Attend and contribute to Team Lead Monthly Meetings and Milestones (TLMMM) every month with the CyBiz Lab team, and meet regularly with the Grinnell team and on-campus supervisor.
