H₂O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America. H₂O Innovation is currently seeking an Asphalt Crew Leader to join our team in Gulfport, MS. Our next colleague will hold a full-time & permanent position. In this role, you’ll oversee our crew’s daily asphalt repair operations, including potholes and cut-outs.

The Day-to-Day

Plans & Schedule daily operations of Asphalt crews.
Inspects work in progress & take necessary actions to ensure timely and accurate job completion.
Operates a front-end loader and asphalt spreader to load asphalt, sand, slag, and similar materials onto trucks and designated work areas.

The Skills We Are Looking For

High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid Class D Driver's License.
Experience in a similar position is preferred.
Heavy equipment experience (excavator, backhoe) preferred.
Strong planning, organizing, and supervisor skills.
Physical strength for heavy manual labor in adverse weather.
Knowledge of equipment operation and safety precautions.
Effective communication skills with personnel and the public.
Ability to complete and submit written reports.

The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
