As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will operate as a hands-on IT generalist, responsible for managing and improving infrastructure across multiple locations. You will ensure systems, networks, and services are secure, stable, and high-performing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, systems, and applications
- Administer Cisco networks (routing, switching, LAN/WAN)
- Support and optimise VMware virtual environments
- Maintain Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues
- Manage backup and disaster recovery processes
- Handle incident and problem management (ITIL-based)
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support
- Maintain clear technical documentation
- Support global operations and remote sites
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking and VMware
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server environments and core services
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills in an international environment
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: €70,000 – €80,000 gross per year (excluding 8% holiday allowance)
- Full-time role (40 hours per week) with a 4/1 hybrid model (4 days office, 1 day remote)
- 25 vacation days annually
