Job Details: Job Location: MD, Hagerstown - Roxbury Correctional Institution - Hagerstown, MD, Position Type: Full-Time, Education Level: Bachelor's Degree, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Administrative & Clerical, Pay Rate: $18.30-$25.00 per hour based on years of experienceCenturion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.  Partnering with Juz Solutions, we are currently seeking a Full-time Medical Records Clerk to join our team at Roxbury Correctional Institute in Cumberland, Maryland. This position is typically a FT position (M-F, regular business hours).  The Medical Records Clerk maintains offender health records, retrieves health records for scheduled appointments, files offender health data, initiates records for new or transferred intakes.  They review health records for completeness, files records as required, prepares reports as needed and more.Qualifications: High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree Certification by the American Health Information Management Association as a Registered Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred but not required Prior experience with medical records and services Completion of a medical terminology course preferred Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkBenefits will be provided by Juz Solutions.
