Job Summary

This Physical Therapist Assistant opportunity is with a PT-owned orthopedic outpatient office in Hallandale Beach,, FL. The PTA will work closely with Physical Therapists to help patients complete treatment programs and improve strength, range of motion, coordination, balance, and overall function.

The clinic offers a manageable pace of 2 patients per hour, making it a strong fit for a PTA who values quality interaction with patients.

Position Overview

  • Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Office
  • Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour
  • Schedule: Flexible — 4-day work schedule or Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Ownership: PT-owned

Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient treatment under PT supervision
  • Implement exercise programs and functional activities
  • Monitor patient tolerance and performance during therapy
  • Provide feedback to the supervising PT on patient progress
  • Help patients understand proper form and movement safety
  • Prepare treatment areas and equipment as needed
  • Document daily treatment notes
  • Support an organized and welcoming clinic flow
  • Active FL PTA License
  • PTA Degree required
  • Outpatient experience preferred
  • New grads welcome are welcome to apply
