Floor Attendant, Hamburg Gaming

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a part-time Floor Attendant to join our team at Hamburg Gaming in Hamburg, New York. As a Floor Attendant, you will work on the gaming floor, contributing to a successful gaming operation by providing maintenance of floor equipment and assisting gaming guests as needed.

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Hamburg Gaming, managed by Delaware North is at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg, New York., near Buffalo. The property features 940 gaming machines on the main gaming floor and an outdoor gaming patio.

• Monitor slot machines, changing and fixing ticket paper as needed
• Perform adjustments to slot machines, resolving problems such as jams or machine tilts, and performs minor repairs contacting repair technician or supervisor for assistance as needed
• Record the specifics of malfunctioning machines and documents malfunctions needing repair
• Patrol assigned areas to ensure that players are following rules, machines are functioning correctly, and assist guests

• Must be 18 years of age
• No experience or diploma required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license
• Excellent guest service skills
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and accurately handle large sums of money
• Open Availability/Flexible

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Frequent standing and walking for the entire length of shift
• Exposure to secondhand smoke and moderate to high noise levels at times
