Your Responsibilities
At DI, our customers are able to order anything, anytime, anywhere. We’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator to ensure our customers get what they need, when they need it. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the efficient and timely operation of the Logistics department, and aids and supports the Logistics and Customer Service teams by facilitating and coordinating general Logistics services and activities. This role is tasked with providing day to day support to the business by performing transactional activities with focus on shipment exception management and ensuring late order deliveries. In addition to overseeing daily shipments, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for initiating internal and external claims, as well as following through to resolution. As you can see, this role is vital to ensuring high quality customer service and success for our business.
Work closely with Customer Service and 3PL traffic team on coordinating outbound shipments.
Review 3PL daily late load report. Coordinate with 3PL, customer service and end customer to execute late shipment deliveries.
Daily problem solving and escalation point for all transportation issues or questions. Assist in investigating and finding appropriate resolution.
Initiate OS&D claims process with carriers. Research and prepare necessary documentation and monitor 3PL in closing submitted requests.
Analyze invoice exceptions and post audit weekly 3PL invoices according to negotiated carrier pricing. Address any problems with current audit logic and business rules.
Liaises between 3PL and IT to resolve any issues with TMS functionality and performance issues to prevent business disruption.
Manage and monitor rental trailer fleet to certify accurate location, tracking and optimal asset utilization.
Prepares and updates business reports as requested by Logistics Manager.
Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
Your Qualifications
Minimum of 18 years of age.
If operating a Company Vehicle, a valid driver’s license will be required.
Knowledge of transportation and logistics procedures, regulations and documentation
1 year of experience with a web based TMS platform
Understanding of Freight Audit and Payment
Ability to be the hub between multiple departments
Intermediate skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Experience in Importing / Exporting procedures and compliance is a plus

Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting boxes or packages under 20 lbs., and remaining in a stationary position for long periods of time. Work requires regularly inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.

$35,600.00 - $71,200.00To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
