Require a DIRECTOR, GOVERNANCE in Harare , Zimbabwe

• Contribute to the formulation, implementation and review of policies, strategies and frameworks for governance, heritage and social services in line with the Ministry’s mandate, strategic plan and national imperatives.
  
• Provide oversight on governance, heritage, social services matters and institutional reforms in the Immigration Control Department, Zimbabwe Republic Police, Civil Registry and State Lotteries to enhance efficiency, transparency and accountability.
  
• Collaborate with National Archives of Zimbabwe and National Museums and Monuments of Zimbabwe in heritage and cultural preservation activities.
  
• Superintend over the development of budgets and funding strategies for governance, heritage and social service programmes.
  

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Peace Studies, Governance, Public Administration, Sociology or related field.
  
• A Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
  
• At least eight years’ experience, of which two years must be at Deputy Director level or equivalent.
  
• Ability to set vision and drive institutional reforms.
  
• Knowledge of governance systems, cultural heritage preservation and social service regulation.
  
• Expertise in drafting and implementing governance and heritage policies.
