Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with an interest in Adult Reconstruction for a full-time, permanent opportunity in northwestern Pennsylvania’s Lake Erie region, near Harborcreek. This hospital-employed position offers a $50,000 sign-on bonus, productivity and quality incentives, and an established referral network.
Join a high-volume surgical program with a dedicated joint unit, a Total Joint Replacement Center of Excellence, and dedicated operating room block time. The outpatient clinic includes in-house imaging and durable medical equipment services, with convenient access to the hospital and ambulatory surgery center.
The practice offers a 1:1 physician-to-advanced-practice-provider model, additional inpatient and outpatient APP support available around the clock, and support from an established orthopedic trauma service. Call is shared on a 1:5 rotation and includes trauma coverage. Epic and Cerner support clinical documentation.
Adult Reconstruction fellowship training is preferred but not required. Recent fellowship-trained surgeons are welcome. Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
Adult Reconstruction fellowship training preferred, but not required.
Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and required hospital credentials.
DEA certification.
Willingness to participate in 1:5 call, including trauma coverage.
