The Role - What You’ll Do

Our Speech pathologists deliver care aligned with our patient centered values assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of speech language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing and fluency disorder through:

  • Evaluation of patients and development of individualized treatment plans including ongoing assessment and discharge planning
  • Collaborate with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team to support care goals and optimize outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation while promoting a safe, compliant care environment aligned with safety and infection prevention standards

Qualifications - What We're Looking For

  • šŸŽ“ Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
  • āœ… Current state Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • ā¤ļø BLS/CPR Certification required
  • šŸ… Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year Status is required for this position.

Physical requirements - What you need to know

  • A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time.
  • Both gross and precise motor functions.
  • Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Possible exposure to bodily fluids.
  • Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.
  • Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
  • Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
