 Are you passionate about shaping stories that matter? KVEO (NBC) in Harlingen, TX (DMA 80) is looking for a full-time News Producer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative newsroom and loves creating compelling content for one of Texas’ fastest-growing markets.

As a News Producer, you’ll be at the heart of our daily newscasts—crafting engaging stories, building dynamic rundowns, and ensuring every show informs and connects with our audience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Produce newscasts for broadcast and digital platforms, including CTV

·         Write and organize news stories with accuracy and creativity

·         Approve scripts and maintain editorial standards

·         Balance hard news and features to deliver compelling broadcasts

·         Edit video and collaborate with the production team

·         Engage viewers on social media and drive audience interaction

·         Perform other newsroom duties as assigned

 Qualifications/Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field (or equivalent experience)

·         Bilingual in English and Spanish

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Minimum 2 years of experience in news operations

·         Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and adapt quickly

·         Flexibility to work any shift
