Join our team as a Major Gifts Officer and play a vital role in connecting donors with the mission of Pennon, and WITF.  In this role, you’ll bea key part of a team that helps secure the resources that fuel public media, trusted journalism, innovative educational services, and inspiring storytelling.

What You’ll Do

• Build and manage relationships with existing and prospective donors who want to make a difference by making quality journalism, impactful educational services, insightful conversations, and engaging stories available to everyone in Central Pennsylvanians.
• Create individualized strategies to inspire major gifts that sustain Pennon's mission.
• Work closely with all leadership and staff partners to identify and engage new prospective donors.
• Share the impact of donor support through compelling stories, impact reports, and stewardship experiences.
• Represent Pennon's mission with enthusiasm and authenticity, showing donors the impact of their support.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Proven success in major gift fundraising or a related relationship-driven field.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills—you know how to connect vision to impact.
• Experience cultivating and securing leadership-level gifts.
• Passion for journalism, public media and storytelling, and education.
