Trinity College is building on the momentum of a successful fundraising campaign to prepare its Advancement division for the next major philanthropic initiative. The Director of Leadership Giving will play a strategic and visible leadership role, drawing on Trinity’s strong annual giving program to drive sustainable growth in the $10,000 to $100,000 gift bands.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of five leadership gift officers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Establish clear performance expectations, metrics, and goals for each team member, and provide ongoing coaching and performance management to ensure success.
Partner with the Associate Vice President for Advancement to develop and execute a comprehensive leadership giving strategy focused on annual fund gifts between $10,000 and $100,000.
Personally manage a portfolio of leadership gift prospects and donors, developing meaningful relationships that result in increased philanthropic support.
Analyze fundraising performance, pipeline development, and portfolio activity to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
Prepare the leadership giving program for success in the College's upcoming comprehensive campaign by strengthening the donor pipeline and increasing leadership-level participation.
Represent Trinity College at alumni and donor events, both on and off campus, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree
5-8 years of experience
Master's Degree, preferred
8-10 years of experience, preferred
Effective managerial skills
Demonstrated and sustained front line fundraising success
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
High attention to detail
Ability to work independently and take ownership of program
Collaborative and service-oriented approach
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
