Job Description

The Hartford HealthCare Access Center is the central access point for scheduling which will provide timely, accurate, friendly, and clinically appropriate access to Medical Group and other ambulatory services.

The Practice Integration Specialist will be responsible for gathering and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data, partnering with clinical and operational stakeholders to understand practice operations, and preparing process and access improvement opportunities. The role will primarily focus on identifying trends, monitoring performance, and partnering with the integrated specialties on maintenance and enhancement activities.  This position requires creativity, imagination, as well as critical thinking and a scientific approach to problem solving. They will work with clinical staff, practice managers, and practice directors.

 



Minimum Requirements
Education
High School Diploma/GED equivalent

Experience
Minimum of 2 years in healthcare
Minimum of 1 year of data analytics experience

Preferred Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred

Experience
Working in Epic or other practice management system experiences.  Provider template experience.   
Licensure, Certification, Registration
Epic Reporting Experience

  • Proven experience in ambulatory practice operations, including patient scheduling, registration, patient flow, follow-up coordination, and referral management.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
  • Confident public speaker, comfortable presenting to groups of varying sizes.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with agility and focus.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the flexibility to adapt and shift between tasks as needed.
  • Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a track record of making sound decisions independently.
  • Energetic and self-motivated leader, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Deep passion for patient care, with a commitment to excellence in an ever-evolving healthcare landscape.
