Description:

Come join the Security team at Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England! We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities.

Position Purpose:

Is responsible for being the first point of contact for incidents or crisis management support. This includes monitoring, assessing, and triaging of information and systems in support of regional security operations. The Security Operations Center Associate will play a critical role in enabling the organization to quickly respond to and mitigate incidents involving personnel, business operations, reputation and company assets.

What you will do:

  • Identifies events via monitoring established feeds (alarms, CCTV, access control).

  • Responsible for incident handling and triage of events and fact finding for initial information gathering.

  • Maintains situational awareness on current conditions including parking areas, doors, structures, etc.

  • Conducts equipment inspections to ensure functionality in accordance with established schedules.

  • Monitors parking areas, alleyways, and exterior doors for unauthorized exit, entry, and for vandalism and illegal activities.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to set and organize own work priorities and adapt to them as they change frequently. Must be able to work concurrently on a variety of tasks/projects in an environment that may be stressful with individuals having diverse personalities and work styles.

  • Must possess the ability to comply with Trinity Health policies and procedures.

  • Must be able to lift 11-24 lbs., carry 11-24 lbs., and push/pull 35-40 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time. Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of PC based applications in a Windows environment.

  • Excellent customer services skills.

  • Ability to think and act quickly in crisis situations.
