The Quality Control Inspector will perform basic visual inspection by using devices. Be able to record inspection data onto inspection form. Perform incoming inspection of parts which may include activities such as PO verification using ERP system. We have openings for both Day (7-8 AM start) and Swing shift (2 PM start).

 Technical Requirements:

  • Perform dimensional inspections independently using a manual Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) as well as DCC CMM and using various mechanical tools such as height gages, micrometers, calipers
  • Write a discrepant material report to identify non-conformances found during inspection 
  • Read product drawings and specifications.
  • Utilize MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel & Access.
  • Work with quality and production personnel.

 Education and Training:

  • Use mechanical hand tools such as Caliper and micrometer 
  • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operation experience with CMM manager software preferred
  • Understanding of GD &T & surface plate inspection
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Read and interpret Blueprints.
  • Intermediate math skills.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
