Job DetailsJob Location: Railroad Pass - Henderson, NV 89002Position Type: ContractorSalary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 HourlyJob Shift: AnyIt is the responsibility of the Maintenance Tech 1 to perform Preventative maintenance, (training will be available as needed) all duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures. Performs routine to complex maintenance and general maintenance. Receives and responds to maintenance calls from Manager, hotel, casino, guests, and other departments. Performs PM on kitchen equipment in the building.* Assesses and performs general maintenance on all floor covering and/or upholstery.* Operates scissor and boom lifts, and climbs ladders to access elevated areas such as ceilings and catwalks.* Operates and maintains appropriate tools and equipment daily for troubleshooting/repairs on property. Keeps informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods. Maintains a clean and safe work area and constantly aware of safety and accident prevention. Drives and operates company vehicles to and from various DeSimone Gaming properties. Responds to and resolves guest complaints in a timely manner and creatively solves problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties. Ensures the privacy and confidentiality of guests and limits requests for information pertaining to guests in accordance with hotel policies. Performs all other job-related duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired: · High School diploma or equivalent. · Need own/reliable transportation. · Need to be mechanically oriented and have a willingness to learn. · Great people skills and good work ethic are required. · Three (3) year DMV driving history printout. · Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. · Able to work any assigned shift as needed.
