Responsibilities Lead and motivate a team of rebuild associates & mechanics to efficiently disassemble, repair, and reassemble products according to company standards. Ensure all rebuild activities adhere to safety protocols and quality guidelines, maintaining a safe work environment. Coordinate daily workflows, prioritize tasks, and monitor progress to meet production targets. Conduct quality inspections throughout the rebuild process to identify defects and implement corrective actions promptly. Train new team members on proper rebuild procedures, safety practices, and equipment use. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and product quality. Maintain accurate documentation of rebuild activities, including inspection reports and work logs. Qualifications Keen sense of safety. Five (5) years of heavy equipment technician experience or equivalent. Must have clean driving record. Strong leadership skills. Strong electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills. Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics. Time management skills. Ability to work independently with little to no supervision. People skills and problem solving skills. Able to lead special projects around the facility. Ability to work with sales team to assist in the sales of rebuilt equipment. Possess the appropriate tools for the job. Education High School diploma, GED or trade school equivalent. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and understand materials commonly used in the product service and maintenance function (service and parts manuals, technical bulletins, and other related articles). Technical Training Certificate of technical training in job specific functions (i.e., engines, power train, hydraulics, fuel systems, power generation, electrical codes, etc.). Proficient computer technology skills, including ability to utilize company authorized software. Minimum of (5) years of repair experience with overhead cranes, reach forklifts, telescoping boom lifts, scissor lifts, company vehicles and dirt equipment (primarily high reach equipment). Work Environment Will be working in shop and outdoor environments. Exposure to extremes in temperature and weather. Physical / Mental Abilities Professional attitude and appearance consistent with position and responsibilities. Must have agility and balance to safely climb on all machines. Qualifications
