Schedule: Part-Time Night -  Saturday 11p - 6a, Sunday and Monday 10:30p - 6a

The role you’ll contribute:

 

Responsible for operating the communication area of the hospital. This role routes incoming calls, assists with long-distance calls for patients and doctors, and may handle all overhead paging. This position also ensures that all emergency codes and alarms, such as fire, trouble, medical gas, emergency weather, pharmacy, and generator alarms, are managed according to established hospital policies and procedures. Additionally, this position supports the hospital's communication needs by maintaining a high level of service and diligently performing assigned tasks.

  • Maintains an operational call log of all activities, requests, and issues.
  • Cultivates accurate knowledge of hospital disaster codes and announces them efficiently according to procedure.

  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.


The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:

 

  • High School Grad or Equivalent [Required]
  • 1+ experience in switchboard operations. [Required]
