ResponsibilitiesĀ
Design, develop, and deploy AI-native software products that transform large-scale geospatial data into actionable intelligence and mission-critical insights.Ā
Implement multi-agent workflows using modern orchestration frameworks (e.g., Google ADK,Ā LangChain,Ā LangGraph) to enable autonomous reasoning, planning, and execution.Ā
IntegrateĀ state-of-the-artĀ Large Language Models (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, etc.) to power contextual analysis, hypothesis generation, and adaptive decision-making.Ā
Engineer agents capable of dynamic tool use, structured reasoning, and iterative self-refinement to improve insight quality over time.Ā
Develop robust data ingestion and transformation layers to support pattern-of-life,Ā detection, anomaly identification, and predictive analyticsĀ
Ensure secure, scalable integrations across cloud and enterprise environments.Ā
Create feedback loops and reinforcement mechanisms to iteratively improve model reliability and operational trustworthiness.Ā
Deploy andĀ operateĀ AI systems in production using modern DevOps practices (containerization, orchestration, CI/CD).Ā
Leverage AI development agents (e.g., Codex, Gemini CLI, Claude Code) as forceĀ multipliers for software design, implementation, testing, and documentation.Ā
Contribute to shared engineering standards, documentation, and best practices for AI-first development.Ā
Minimum QualificationsĀ
Bachelor's degree inĀ Computer Science, Systems Engineering, SoftwareĀ Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred but notĀ required.Ā
Must be a U.S. CitizenĀ
7 years of proven experience in a relevant technology domain, with preference forĀ Software engineer and AI/MLĀ
āStrong understanding of technical concepts related to managing cloud-based data and machine learning pipelines (e.g., AWSĀ or GCP)Ā
Significant software development experience withĀ Python, JavaScript, or similarĀ
Preferred SkillsĀ
Familiarity withĀ vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval-augmentedĀ generation(RAG)Ā architectures.Ā
Knowledge ofĀ distributed systems designĀ and high-availability architectures supporting global-scale workloads.Ā
Leverages AI for team velocityĀ and upskilling, including using AI-assisted development heavily, prototyping quickly, automating repetitive engineeringĀ tasksĀ and moving faster than traditional SWE teams.Ā
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsĀ

ā The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $165,000.00 - $220,000.00 - $242,000.00 annually.ā The base pay for this position within California is: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 - $220,000.00 annually.For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
