Raffia / Wallpaper Associate

Job DetailsJob Location: Century Casegoods Plant 1 - Hickory, NC 28601Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayPosition Summary: This position is responsible for cutting and applying raffia / wallpaper for furniture such as game tables, cocktail tables, and consoles. Position Details: Must be able to self inspect and touch up unwrapped cases with dents and chips before applying Raffia. Apply glue and Raffia/wallpaper ensuring miters and joints are straight and even, all bubbles are out, and Raffia/wallpaper is lying flat. Maintains glue levels, ensuring glue is on order when needed. Observes plant safety rules while maintaining a neat and clean work area Must be quality conscious in assigned duties Performs other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.   QualificationsPosition Requirements: Must be able to read route card Previous experience with wallpaper & raffia preferred   Physical Requirements:   The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
