Job Details: Job Location: Century Casegoods Plant 1 - Hickory, NC 28601, Position Type: Full Time, Job Shift: Day, Summary Description:Pulls and distributes stock listed on a pick sheet for the days production requirements.Duties: Pulls stock from inventory to meet plant needs for shift Loads the stock on a truck using forklift, hand trucks, etc. as needed Distributes/unloads stock to designated locations Builds skids as needed Unboxes/uncrates finished product to add skid to base Keeps stock moved in and out of inventory as directed Handling Slab Stock as needed Observes plant safety rules Keeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing duties Performs other tasks as assigned by the SupervisorQualifications: Position Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience using a forklift preferredPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
