Join our team in a 24 bed unit staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (NAs), and monitor techs. This unit focuses on Pre & Post Cardiac Cath patients with 24 hr cardiac monitoring. 

How you’ll contribute 

A Monitor Tech, who excels in this role:

  • Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors.

  • Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately.  
  • Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
  • Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Tests equipment for proper working order. 
  • Reports equipment problems to supervisor.
