How you'll make an impact in this role
Deliver direct nursing care, implement individualized care plans, and carry out provider orders while continuously monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition changes in according with established protocols.
Perform pre-procedure nursing assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to identify, evaluate, and coordinate patient discharge planning needs prior to surgery.
Serve as the primary liaison across all clinical disciplines, medical staff, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless, well-coordinated patient care delivery throughout the pre-admission phase.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time ofhire.
What additional requirements you'll need
- RN with 3-5 years PAT or Day Surgery experience, or hospital nursing experience.
