Part Time: 4:45pm-9:30pm (includes a weekend rotation)

Hope College Dining Services is looking for Dishwashers to join our diverse team of professionals that provide delicious, sustainable, and nutritious food to over 3000 students. Hope College is located in downtown Holland, MI.

The Dishwasher maintains and sanitizes the kitchen work areas , dishes, and restaurant equipment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and equipment to approved sanitation standards.
• Returns clean items back to their proper location.
• Sweeps, mops and performs general cleaning.
• Willingly to jump into a Utility role when needed
• Ensures trash bins are clean and emptied as needed throughout the day. Picks up trash and debris around dock, employee entrance and landscaping areas.
• Helps clean employee restrooms as needed, checking all the paper towel and soap dispensers, and refills them daily.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.
