Shop Labor - MS

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Shop Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for cutting steel and maintaining a clean shop environment. Additionally, you will be cross-trained to serve as a backup painter and assist with shipping/receiving tasks. This position offers room for advancement for those who demonstrate proficiency in their responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily tasks such as cutting steel and general shop cleaning Train as a backup painter for industrial bins Assist with shipping and receiving duties De-burr metal edges and perform metal fabrication tasks Conduct quality inspections of final products Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including welding machines, grinders, and cutting torches Ensure accuracy and precision in measurements and assembly Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and quality standards Hours: 7AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday Requirements Steel Toed Boots Benefits
