Job Title: CDL A Driver

Join our dynamic team at Heritage and Company as a CDL A Driver! We are looking for skilled and responsible drivers to support our landscape maintenance and construction operations. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in transporting equipment, materials, and team members to and from job sites while ensuring safety and efficiency in every journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with all traffic laws and company regulations.
- Transport landscape materials, equipment, and personnel to project sites as needed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment as required.
- Communicate effectively with the operations team to coordinate daily tasks and schedules.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to promote a safe working environment.
- To run a plow truck or machine in wintertime.
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Knowledge of landscape materials and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility in work hours and availability for overtime as required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to run a dump and haul equipment.
- Doubles endorsement would be great but not required.
