Purchasing Clerk

Lifesteps is hiring a Full-time Purchasing Clerk in the Butler PA Area.

The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for receiving and reviewing the quality and quantity of incoming and outgoing orders, including the accuracy of packing slips. Monthly Supply Requisitions and researching prices for equipment, supplies, etc. Assists Supervisor in trouble shooting problems/errors as they occur within the department. Travels to shop for various items for the Agency as necessary. 

 QUALIFICATIONS: 

• High School Diploma/GED
• One (1) year of clerical, business or office experience 
• Possess excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal and written) and pays attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle

Preferred:

Prior experience in Purchasing and/or Customer Service
