SUMMARY

The E-Commerce Clerk position is a non-exempt role within the Retail and Contract Operations division, specifically in the E-Commerce/Retail department, reporting to the E-Commerce Manager. The E-Commerce Clerk is responsible for supporting online sales efforts by ensuring merchandise is accurately posted and listed on e-commerce platforms. This role requires strong attention to detail and organization to meet listing and performance goals. Overall, the E-Commerce Clerk plays a key role in maintaining efficient and effective online retail operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Meet daily listing and posting targets set by the E-Commerce Manager
Sort, process, identify, and evaluate merchandise for online sale
Research items and create effective listings to maximize value
Take clear, detailed, and visually appealing product photos
Write accurate, concise, and consistent product descriptions
Maintain accurate records of listed and sold items
Organize, store, retrieve, and catalog inventory properly
Assist with packaging and shipping to meet delivery timelines
Provide professional customer service and resolve issues efficiently
Handle returns and communicate problems to management
Follow all procedures for e-commerce merchandise handling and sales
Support inventory control and report loss prevention concerns
Use equipment safely and follow all safety policies and procedures
Stay compliant with company safety standards at all times
Perform additional duties as assigned
