Description: Jarrett Middle School is a small learning community that guides students through the challenges of adolescence. It provides a supportive, elementary‑like environment while also pushing students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Partnerships with local organizations extend learning through enrichment opportunities before school, after school, and during the summer. Through these collaborations, faculty and staff encourage students to exceed expectations and cultivate creativity, curiosity, and community spirit.
Location: 1903 Palolo Ave., Honolulu, HI 96816
Public Transportation: Bus 200 runs between Chaminade and Jarrett Middle School.

- Guide students in completing homework, projects, and preparing for tests confidently.
- Provide personalized instruction to improve understanding and build academic confidence.
- Collaborate with teachers to identify student needs and tailor effective strategies.
- Foster a positive and motivational learning environment that encourages academic success.

- Unfortunately, due to this requirement, Marianist Exchange Program participants from Chaminade's sister universities are ineligible to apply.
- 2.0 GPA or higher (must maintain)
- Physical Requirements
This position may involve light physical activity in both indoor and outdoor settings. Successful candidates should be comfortable alternating between standing and sitting, as well as navigating stairs and sloped walkways. They should also be comfortable lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds. Strong motor skills and clear, effective communication are essential.
- Other Requirements
- This is a part-time, non-exempt employment position. Successful candidates may work up to 19 hours per week; however, employment is on an as-needed basis. Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to a varied schedule are essential.
