The Horsham Clinic is a 206 bed private behavioral healthcare facility located on a beautiful 55-acre suburban campus. We are minutes from Philadelphia and we serve Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The Horsham Clinic provides comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Programs and services are located on the main campus in Ambler, Pennsylvania, as well as satellite day hospital programs in Pennsylvania, Delaware County, and Chester County.

Summary:

 

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the Housekeeping Department. The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for ensuring that all activities of the housekeeping and laundry departments are successfully provided daily. The Housekeeping Manager develops programs in compliance with established Environment of Care standards and conducts regular surveillance to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of such programs consistent with the philosophy and objectives of The Horsham Clinic and regulating agencies.

Qualifications

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criterial listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.

  • One year supervisory role experience preferred
  • One year experience in plant building, equipment and utility maintenance preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to consistently meet and manage patient expectations
  • Ability to coordinate ideas and resources to achieve goals (Planning and Organizing)
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities
  • Ability to influence and enlist the aid of others in the accomplishment of common tasks and goals 
  • Supervision under the Director of Plant Operations
  • Supervision of all Housekeeping Services/Staff
