Commercial Roofing Safety Coordinator


Eskola, LLC - Houston, Texas  |  Full-Time  |  $50,000 - $60,000 / hour  (Based on Qualifications & Experience)

Eskola, LLC has been installing commercial and industrial roofing and waterproofing systems throughout the North and Southeastern U.S. since 1972. Eskola, LLC is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team as a Safety Inspector/Coordinator for the Southwest Region.

This role is responsible for ensuring that all commercial roofing projects within the region adhere to the highest safety standards — developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs to protect employees, subcontractors, and the public while maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations. The ideal candidate brings technical expertise, practical roofing or construction experience, and a proactive approach to workplace safety.


What You Will Do

  • Partner with the Safety Director to implement and maintain safety policies tailored to commercial roofing operations 
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits across regional job sites, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions 
  • Deliver safety training on fall protection, HazCom, aerial/scissor lift, forklift, and other topics 
  • Lead incident investigations and manage emergency response plans
  • Maintain safety documentation and report on safety performance to senior management


What We are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in construction safety management; commercial roofing experience strongly preferred 
  • Valid OSHA certification (e.g., OSHA 30-hour) 
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills 
  • Comfort working at heights and traveling to active job sites regionally


Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or First Aid/CPR/AED trainer certification 
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field 
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
