Job DetailsJob Location: FABCORP - HOUSTON, TX 77040Job Title: SAW TECH II Reports to: LEADMAN Pay: Hourly non-exempt SUMMARY: Responsible for operating industrial saw. Completes layout, and inspects finished product. REQUIRED Essential duties and responsibilities: Operate CNC industrial saw. Use a CNC controller to input information into machine. Able to read tape and caliper measurements. Work with tight tolerances. Produce parts for assembly operations. Check machine for defects and repair if necessary. Ensure machine is calibrated and cleaned. Read drawings and blueprints. Able to handle and operate small hand tools Able to accurately write or mark numbers on parts Able to read work order documents to determine requirements. Upkeep and cleanliness of work areas. Follow company safety & security guidelines Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job. Other duties as needed. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee is frequently required to stand while performing the duties of this job (approx. 80%) and occasionally walk (10%) or sit (10%). The employee is expected to lift or move materials (30%) weighing up to 30 lbs.
