As a Maintenance Principal Engineer, you will serve as a collaborative, multidisciplinary technical leader within the Mechanical Integrity and Maintenance Excellence team. You will work with manufacturing sites across the global network to strengthen mechanical integrity, maintenance work processes, asset reliability, and lifecycle performance.

In this high-visibility role, you will provide enterprise guidance for fixed and rotating equipment, inspection and testing programs, risk-based decision making, maintenance strategies, and continuous improvement. You will partner with site engineering, maintenance, operations, process safety, and business teams to translate standards and technical requirements into practical, sustainable execution.

You will report directly to our Director of Engineering and you’ll work out of our Houston, TX, Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, Mobile, AL, or Shreveport, LA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

  • Improve the safety, integrity, availability, and lifecycle cost of critical process equipment.
  • Strengthen consistent Mechanical Integrity governance, inspection practices, and maintenance execution across manufacturing sites.
  • Reduce equipment risk and recurring failures through sound engineering, disciplined problem solving, and sustainable corrective actions.
  • Build capability by mentoring engineers, inspectors, planners, and maintenance professionals.
