Mid level Piping Designer

We’re seeking a Piping Designer to produce piping layouts, isometrics, and 3D models for capital projects under the guidance of senior designers. You’ll work independently on assigned areas while coordinating with other disciplines to deliver accurate, constructible designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop piping plans, sections, isometrics, and 3D models using  E3D, or CadWorx

• Route piping in assigned areas considering process requirements, supports, and accessibility

• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to resolve clashes

• Participate in 3D model reviews and incorporate review comments

• Assist with material take-offs (MTOs) and vendor drawing reviews

• Ensure deliverables comply with project specifications and industry standards

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in drafting/design (or equivalent experience)

• 4–8 years of piping design experience in oil & gas projects

• Working proficiency in 3D modeling software

• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, equipment drawings, and piping specifications
