Regional Sales & Channel Partner Manager (“Engineering”) – Flow Management Devices, LLC – 4730 Vista Road, Pasadena, TX 77505


DUTIES:

  • Subject Matter Technical Expert for Flow Management Devices (“FMD”) provers, petroleum sampler technology and additional measurement products.
  • Oversee an assigned geographic territory and set of direct customer accounts, such as end user, FMD international sales and engineering team members, and agent accounts.
  • Responsible for achieving sales volume targets by supporting the customer, closing large orders, assisting in trade show events, identifying international areas of growth, initiating agent/rep contracts, manage these contracts and develop business relationships with current and new customers.
  • Assist customer technical teams and engineers.
  • Conduct training and facilitate training of customers demonstrations of our prover products, as well as customer exhibitions, seminars, and design-oriented meetings.
  • Lead product presentations to end-users, engineers, project managers, engineering firms, fabricators, and service companies in the oil and gas industry.
  • Make technical sales and service coordination of FMD Provers, petroleum sampler technology, plus additional measurement products.
  • Make sales calls to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements provide engineering application guidance and technical/engineering assistance to customers with either existing product, solutions, or in partnership with Engineering on new product solutions.
  • Develop international growth strategies in current territories and investigate new territories and help identify and pursue the development of new market or product opportunities.
  • Generate leads and secure opportunities through explaining FMD’s technical advantage over competitors.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership and engineering teams to establish and execute sales goals, and assist in forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals.
  • Manage customers and implement strategic plans that are in alignment with FMD’s strategy and vision to grow business.
  • Collect and manage customer project activity in a weekly project report and act as liaison between the customer and FMD customer service when needed.
  • Work closely with management and other departments concerning demos, literature, and field communication releases.
  • Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information effecting current and future growth.
  • Review, edit, and implement contractual agreements between FMD and agents/reps, end users, fabrication partners, and EPC’s.
  • Initiate, review, execute, and manage agent/rep contracts for international business in Latin America, Central America, South America, and the Middle East territory.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field and 5 years of experience with technical sales within the Measurement or Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Must have 5 years of prior sales experience of achievement in a prior sales position.
  • Must have deep understanding of Meter Proving methods, API compliance, various measuring technologies, and FMD prover maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Domestic and international travel up to 40% to various unanticipated client sites. Scheduled remote work allowed in conjunction with required in office days in Pasadena, Texas.
  • Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
