The Sr. Advanced Technical Services Specialist position for CDU/VDU, Hydroprocessing & Renewable Technologies provides technical support for a range of UOP technologies such as Hydrotreating, Hydrocracking, Ecofining and UOP Heavy Oil technologies including Crude and Vacuum Distillation. Â The primary accountability of the position is to complete the transfer of our CDU/VDU or hydroprocessing technology in order to deliver to our customers' UOP-licensed or UOP-designed units / units loaded with UOP catalyst that operate optimally, profitably and safely. To do so, the Specialist will have regular interaction with external customers, and with other UOP personnel involved in technology delivery projects. In addition to customer contact, the position provides interaction with all the UOP departments involved with technology delivery. Â The interaction with other UOP departments provides excellent exposure as well as providing knowledge of accountabilities in other areas.Â
You will report directly to our Sr Chemical Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of either our Houston, TX or Des Plaines, IL location on a Hybrid work schedule.
