JOB TITLE:聽Wash Bay Fuel Island Attendant
LOCATION:聽Houston, TX
REPORTS TO:聽Fleet and Fuel Services Manager
SCHEDULE:聽聽 Rotating schedule, Night shift. Some overtime and some weekends will be required
COMPENSATION:聽 Commensurate with experience and skills
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure Proper trucks are parked in the designated area
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain cleanliness of trucks, wash bay, and surrounding yard areas, including vacuuming interiors, cleaning windows and consoles, operating cleaning equipment, and properly storing supplies
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitor and report equipment malfunctions
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support fuel island operations, including fueling, DEF level checks and refills, troubleshooting fuel codes, unloading fuel products to storage tanks, and assisting with tank setup.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure trucks are properly parked and required inspections are completed
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Operate light and heavy equipment, hand tools, and power tools to complete assigned tasks
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform manual labor as required
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Follow all safety policies and procedures and attend required safety meetings
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain effective communication and cooperation with branch and corporate personnel
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain yard cleanliness and organization
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist with inventory verification of trucks and yard equipment
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conduct basic inspections of company equipment and report issues
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist with training drivers and contractors on proper loading and unloading procedures at the yard
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitor operations of cleaning machines and stop machines or notify supervisors when malfunctions occur
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Use materials such as water, cleaning agents, brushes, and cloths
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor; or manager
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Other related tasks as assigned by manager

- Minimum age 18聽
Locals only, must live within 60 miles of terminal
- Dependable attendance with no unauthorized absences
- Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
- Valid class C driver鈥檚 license
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical or "Fit for Duty" physical exam
- Must satisfactorily pass a drug and background check
- Must be able to pass a driving test hauling a utility trailer
- Must be able to operate pressure washer and vacuums
- Ability to resolve issues quickly
- Ability to work a variety of hours, overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to exert 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds of force constantly
- Ability to bend, sit, squat, stand, crawl, walk and reach above shoulder
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers and customers
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work with hands and arms for long periods of time
- Strong knowledge of fuel delivery equipment (trucks, pumps, etc.)
- Experience working in a similar job
- Experience operating power and manual tools and light and heavy equipment
- Experience working outside in various weather conditions
