Job Details: Job Location: Houston - HOUSTON, TX, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Houston Distributing Company, Inc.Job Description  Title: Automotive Tech (Part-Time)           FLSA Status: NON-EXEMPT  General Summary:Reports directly to the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor. Primarily responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of HDC’s fleet. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner in compliance with HDC’s procedures. Maintains work area in a neat, safe, and organized manner. Complies with standard operating procedures relating to vacation scheduling, uniform compliance as well as proper reporting of accidents and absences. Complies with OSHA, utilizing required safety equipment. Responsible for remaining knowledgeable in current mechanical trends relating to the repair of automotive engine and automotive related repairs. Maintains personal hand tools. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Will assist with other projects as required. Job Specifications: Strong mechanical aptitude Strong organizational skills.
