Custodian- Environmental Services

Mosaic Management Group is seeking a caring and dependable person to join our team as a part-time Custodian at our Green Bay Assisted Living Community. The Custodian will perform a combination of duties to assist maintaining the community in a state of good repair, cleanliness and attractive appearance.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Asist in Maintaining neat, clean interior and exterior of buildings.

· Perform general cleaning assignments, carpet cleaning and light maintenance.

· Inspect building weekly for items in need of repair and replace lightbulbs.

· Prepares apartments for move-in as assigned.

· Change filters in HVAC equipment.

· Maintain grounds free of debris, ensure that lawns and flower beds are manicured and watered.

· Ensure driveways, parking areas and walkways are properly cleared of snow and salted.

· Complete daily work requests for residents and staff.

· Perform routine checks of water temperature, fire extinguishers and smoke detectors.

· Participate in monthly fire drill.

· Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash.

· Assist with setup and cleanup for special events and stocking of deliveries.

· Maintain friendly and courteous demeanor with all residents, staff and visitors

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must enjoy working with older adults

· Excellent attendance record

· Custodial/ environmental services experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
