We specialize in four areas including custom machinery, precision fabrication, automated systems for medical device manufacturing, and contract manufacturing.  Keller delivers sophisticated manufacturing solutions for many industries including Engineered Materials, Semiconductors, Robotics, Chemicals, Medical and Life Science, Energy Research, and Industrial Technologies.  We are currently seeking to fill the following position for our Charlotte location.  MATERIAL HANDLING SUPERVISOR This position will work closely with the Production Manager to maintain day to day material handling and warehouse operations. This will be an hourly paid position that will require working hands on with material handling and other departments as needed to meet production deadlines. RESPONSIBILITIES The following is a summary of the Primary Job Responsibilities. It is not to be considered as an all encompassing list of job duties. •    Evaluate and prioritize daily activities of the material handling team, including shipping, receiving, material movement, and staging materials. •    Serve as the primary point of escalation for material handling issues. •    Coordinate and oversee all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation. •    Ensure materials are delivered to production areas accurately and in a timely manner. •    Work closely with the Production Manager to train, coach, and evaluate material handling personnel. •    Physically assess material flow, storage layouts, and staging areas to improve efficiency, safety, and organization. •    Support existing production processes through hands on shop floor engagement and continuous improvement projects. •    Ensure organization, labeling, and housekeeping standards are maintained. •    Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, ISO/quality system requirements, and regulatory standards.QualificationsREQUIREMENTS •    Minimum high school diploma required; associate degree or technical training preferred. •    Minimum 3 years of experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations, previous supervisory or lead experience preferred. •    Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or operate material handling equipment for extended periods. •    Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system; Epicor Kinetic is a plus. •    Knowledge and experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, crane, etc.) •    Thorough understanding of domestic and international shipping requirements and documentation. •    Good interpersonal skills; able to develop working relationships with interdepartmental teams. •    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
