Job Description

An education and student-support organization providing specialized tutoring, therapy, evaluations, and educational services to students is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists to help students strengthen communication, language, speech, and related skills. This opportunity is ideal for licensed or certified SLPs who enjoy working directly with students and want to make a meaningful impact through individualized therapy, evaluation, and collaboration with educators and families.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide individualized speech and language therapy based on each student's needs and goals.
  • Evaluate students' speech, language, communication, and related abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies and measurable goals.
  • Address articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social communication, and other communication needs as appropriate.
  • Monitor student progress and modify interventions based on individual response.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, therapists, and other educational professionals.
  • Complete required documentation, progress reports, evaluations, and recommendations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations and contribute professional recommendations.
  • Create a positive, engaging, and supportive environment that encourages student growth.

Experience you will need:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current NYS Speech-Language Pathology license/certification or appropriate NYS credential.
  • Experience working with children or students preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Candidates with reciprocal NYS licenses and qualified retired professionals are encouraged to apply.
