Yulista Contract Services LLCRegular

Primary Function

  • Yulista provides full on-site / off-site maintenance flight/Functional Check Flight operations to support the US Army Flight Test Directorate AFTD at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The support will be conducted in accordance with current Army directives, including but not limited to, AR 95-1 and AR 95-20.
  • Areas for support to be provided include completion of all Instrumentation test flights on AFTD aircraft, fault isolation and troubleshooting as required.

Essential Duties

  • Capable of performing system level design using computer aided drafting software.
  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting of instrumentation systems.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to perform a practical application of tools and techniques to assigned duties.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities. This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to participate in designing layouts, suggesting improvements, and potentially creating solutions to design problems.
  • A strong understanding of all Army helicopter platforms
  • Effectively communicate ideas, designs and solutions by ways of written, verbal, and visual communication
  • Ability to collaborate with teamworking skills that will contribute to a common goal

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have at least two of the following: 1) Must be a graduate of an accredited technical school, college, or military school with training in electronics theory, 2) Possess a valid FCC license with demonstrated proficiency in electronics theory and application, 3) Possess a valid FAA Airframe license, or a minimum of four (4) years of avionics or armament experience, or four (4) years of avionics or armament experience.
  • Specialized instrumentation experience, training, and knowledge of transducers, strain gages.
  • Must perform in-depth troubleshooting and repair on instrumentation systems. Work is reviewed at initiation for proper technique and monitored for specific compliance with accepted practices and work assignments.
  • Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of specialized instrumentation, aerospace testing, and system design/development.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance
