MSRC is seeking a full-time Production Support Specialist to provide production and quality support for a hypersonic system within Aviation & Missile Command (AvMC). This role involves coordinating with engineering teams to resolve manufacturing and assembly issues, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting the integration and testing of components. The production support specialist maintains detailed documentation and facilitates communication between suppliers, production teams, and program management to ensure timely delivery and adherence to safety and performance requirements. Additionally, they will assist in troubleshooting production challenges, implementing process improvements, and supporting compliance with military regulations and standards vital to hypersonic technology development.



Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Systems, Mechanical, Aerospace or Quality Engineering


Job Requirements:

  • Self-motivated.
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint and Teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills required.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Discernment of and ability to operate with awareness of organizational interests and respect to military, civilian and corporate chains of command.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in systems engineering, mechanical, aerospace, quality engineering, or system integration on complex technical programs.
  • Technical experience in missile systems or related lab experience.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Interfaces with the Prime contractor through AvMC technical review process in the following areas:
    • Management of material review board activities/Non Conformance Reports (NCRs)
    • Redlines changes to the Technical Data Package (TDP)
    • Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
  • Interfaces with the Prime contractor to track when TDP revisions are released and used on the production floor.
  • Works closely with Lead System Engineer to ensure alignment with government systems engineering philosophy, policies, and procedures.
  • Develops and maintains procedures though AvMC technical review process.
  • Courier for classified information between AVMC and the Prime contractor.
  • Review drawings for technical information and manufacturability.
  • Works with engineering team to ensure sufficient rigor on MRB products.
  • Up to 10% travel


Additional Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, active clearance preferred.
