Engineering Tech II

AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for the Redstone Test and Engineering Services (RTES) contract in support of the Redstone Test Center mission to provide superior technical expertise conducting tests, analyzing the results, and reporting the results on systems, subsystems, and components related to aviation, missile, and senor platforms.

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Months/Years of Experience: Three (3) years of applicable experience supporting engineering or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or two (2) years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and one (1) year of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; and the following additional requirements: Instrumentation - Must have sixteen (16) weeks of civilian or military training in electronics or basic instrumentation techniques and at least 1 of the 3 years of experience must be in electronics/instrumentation supporting engineering or testing of military hardware.

Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen.  Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance. ~20% travel required. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Duties: Construct and test cables and wiring harnesses from drawings. Use drawings, general and special test equipment to test cables, wiring harnesses, populated printed circuit boards, receivers, and transmitters. Use drawings, general and special tools and test equipment to assemble, test, and troubleshoot TM/FTS kits. Integrate TM/FTS kits into missiles prior to test missions.  Integrate network enabled test equipment.
