AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for the Redstone Test and Engineering Services (RTES) contract in support of the Redstone Test Center mission to provide superior technical expertise conducting tests, analyzing the results, and reporting the results on systems, subsystems, and components related to aviation, missile, and sensor platforms.



Education:  High School Diploma or GED


Months/Years of Experience: Five (5) years of applicable experience supporting engineering or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization: or two (2) years of applicable college/vocational/military//technical school and three (3) years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area: Instrumentation – Experience must include successful completion of sixteen (16) weeks of civilian or military training in electronics or basic instrumentation techniques and a minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics/instrumentation supporting engineering or testing of military hardware. 

 

Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen.  Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance. Position will require laboratory bench work. Ability to understand basic engineering terminology and communicate effectively with others. Ability to use bench level electronics laboratory equipment. Must be able to follow specific instructions and perform well toward accomplishing tasks while adhering to required safety and security requirements. Must be able to work as a team member in a collaborative effort, taking initiative at times when direction is implicit. The candidate must be willing to support overtime on an occasional basis.  Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

 

Duties:   Assembly and soldering electronics components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using surface mount and through-hole techniques in compliance with IPC J-Standard.  Building and testing chassis containing electronic and RF components such as filters, attenuators, and combiners.


Comments:  Compliance with health mandates as dictated by the contract may be a condition of employment. Employees are subject to drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment
