Overview
Responsible to the OR Manager for the operation and administration of the Service Specialty, including effective management of clinical systems, human resources, finances and the work environment. Promotes multi-disciplinary collaborative practice with physicians and other departments, performs in-depth patient needs, develops and monitors patient care standards, and promotes the overall goals and objectives of the department’s mission
Qualifications
Education required: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
License, certification and/or registration: Current Alabama or multistate Nursing Licensure. BCLS certification required (must be completed within the Provisionary Period)
Experience: Extensive Operating Room experience, Management experience desirable
Additional skills/abilities: Demonstrates leadership ability
